Our History

ACTA was founded by Aurelie Udall. After growing up and training in France, Aurelie was offered a scholarship to play at a university in Michigan. She coached in many different places, including France, Florida, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Tahiti, and eventually San Diego. Aurelie and her husband, Joe, have 2 children who have grown up playing tennis using the pathway system. Aurelie is thrilled to bring her vision to larger facilities as Director of Tennis at both Tierrasanta and Rancho Penasquitos Tennis Clubs. ACTA has provided a community for competition, the highest quality training, and social programs and activities for players of all levels.

On The Cutting Edge.

ACTA emphasizes a combination of European cutting edge methods and American mindset. Our mission is to guide tennis students based on three important pillars - understanding the player, teaching the game, and creating the environment. We believe that we can be effective only through developing an in-depth knowledge and interlinking of these three areas.
